The role of MSMEs to our country’s socio-economic development is enormous, considering its contribution in providing employment, manufacturing products, exports, etc. In today’s competitive economy, for enterprises, both big and small, it is important to have their intellectual properties well protected. Protection of intellectual creations will promote innovations and will provide a competitive advantage to every enterprise. Due to various reasons, MSMEs fail to protect their intellectual property and face problems due to the same.
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in association with Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises is organizing a one day “Sensitization Programme on IPR” for MSMEs in Delhi on March 25, 2010, at FICCI, Federation House, Tansen Marg, New Delhi, at 10 am.
Further details about the programme, the programme copy, etc., may be accessed at http://www.ficci.com/events.asp; or you may like to contact Ms. Mini N Nair, Senior Assistant Director, FICCI-IPR Division , Phone: 011- 23766930; 011-23738760-70 (Extn-477); email: ipr@ficci.com/ mini.nair@ficci.com.
